Hi all

I'm running windows xp home edition.

I tried to install the instuction manual for my new printer but can't open it as it wants to use Microsoft HTML help executable to be read and I've obviously lost that somehow. I also can't access the index/contents tab on the help menu when using the internet (is that connected?)

Thanks in advance for any help or advice you can offer - I'd be grateful if you could make it as simple as possible!

Hi Oddjob5
I haven't explored the link you sent me yet, but have had a quick look and it looks as though it should solve the problem.

Many thanks again; could I adopt you?

Hi oddjob5

I qualify on your first criteria, but defiitely not on the second, sorry. I'm at the stage now when I can use age as an excuse to explain my inabilities and forgetfulness. Perhaps I could be an honorary granny!

Hi Oddjob5

"Ive been trying to use that excuse,Does it work?? " ............I don't know, but it makes me feel better even if no-one else believes it.

"We always need someone we can go to for a few quid " What a shame that I've also got to the stage when I'm spending the kids' inheritance.
