My computer recently crashed. I managed to reboot and now have a file on my C drive called "My Old Disc Structure" I cannot delete the file and it is taking up space on my hard drive. Does any one know how to delete this? Thankfully I back up regularly on external hardrive.

if you get a message stating you don't have access to delete it try using a free program called unlocker. This will attempt a forced delete. I've had quite a bit of success with it.

Scan is free but the fix is at cost. Any other way of fixing my problem at no cost

Rename the files and then use Unlocker to delete them on next reboot,

If unlocker doesn't work, try Move on Boot:

hi downloaded move on boot and although this cleaned up my registry I still have folder "My Old Disc Structure" which is taking up 6gb on my small laptop hardrive. Everytime I try to delete I get the message
Cannot delete Dc10: Access is denied.
Make sure the disk is not fulll or write protected and that the file is not currently in use.

Any help appreciated
