Default how do I get rid of secure search lavasoft.com

after having a trial period of Ad Aware antivirus, it' time expired' and I cleared every thing out
Now every time I click on the Chrome Icon it doesn't take me to CHROME, instead
It outputs on the screen LAVASOFT.com Secure Search (BLEKKO) I think I have uninstalled everything ? ( Ad Aware, Lavasoft , couldn't find anything on BLEKKO) and have shutdown after each attempt to try and rid myself of this, I have even downloaded CHROME again, but so far all my attempts have FAILED.
IF any one can help I would be most grateful

Quote:
Chrome: Open your Google Chrome browser, go to the tools icon located on the right hand side and choose settings. 2nd option on the settings page is "on startup" please click the radio button "Open a specific page or set of pages" and click the blue link to the right "set pages"
At that stage do you see Blekko there? Hover over it and you should see an X to the right hand side - click that.

I didn't see 'BLEKKO' but 'LAVASOFT' appeared,clicked on 'X'
continued down to 'SEARCH (Manage search engine) this shows GOOGLE as Default
Further down 'Default Browser' Confirms 'Google Chrome' so fingers XXd that this will do9 the trick! just about to log off, if you don't hear from me then everything is back to normal,
Thanks for your help

Back again
when I exited from the 'Forum' and clicked on the Google Chrome Icon, every thing was as per normal with all the Icons appearing ( GMAIL, YouTUBE etc.) on logging off and rebooting, then clicking on the Google chrome Icon this produced The LAVASOFT Search with the reference to Blekko ( powered by' I think that is what it says) so it is a question of SNAFU

The Saga continues
On start-up I am still faced with LAVASOFT secure search
but if I click right on the Google Chrome Icon, then left on this again this reproduces my usual
Google Chrome Icons (You Tube, GMAIL, Google Maps, ETC.) but when I exit from this, it defaults back to 'LAVASOFT secure search.
ALL I WANT TO DO IS TO KICK LAVASOFT into TOUCH
